What's going on in your life these days ...?
I'm busy running my record label CSP Records mc, with 4 releases to date ... constantly
working on new material for my night club appearances ... and going out on interviews for
movie and TV roles.
I have also just authorized The Official Mel Carter International Fan Club - if you're

Where do you live now?
I'm currently living in Los Angeles, where I've been for the last 30 years. I'm proud to call L. A. "home" ... I love the energy of this city.
Are you married?
NO! ... but I'm dating a wonderful lady who lives in El Paso, Texas.
What are some of your hobbies?
I collect African Art ... I enjoy collecting, and have "dabbled" in it for some time now. I'm planning a trip to Africa this Fall to find more, from several different regions. I'll post some pictures when I get back ...
Are you a big sports fan?
Yes! Well, somewhat ... I'm not a nut about it, but as I'm from Cincinnati I've always loved my Reds! But here in L. A., I follow the Dodgers, Angels, and Lakers ... the Bulls ... the Raiders, and professional wrestling -- Hulk Hogan (ha, ha!) ... and of course tennis and Tiger Woods.
Do you keep in touch with your fellow stars from the 60's?
Absolutely ... I'm proud to say that I count several of the Stars from the 60's among my closest friends. We occasionally get together at clubs where we appear and jam ... and each other's birthdays, and holidays, and parties.
Do you have any children? Are they in the business?
I have three children (1 girl, 2 boys) and three grandchildren (yes, grandkids! 3 girls), but none of them are in the business so far.
Are your parents still alive?
My mother is my best friend! (I love you, Mom.) My father died when I was a kid, but my stepdad and I became very close - he's one of the good guys in this world.
